Behind Tennessee Truck Revival
I’m Jaye, born June 20, 1982, in Winchester, Tennessee, not far from Tullahoma. Trucks have been part of my life since day one. My great-grandfather had a ’76 Ford F-100 Ranger—blue and white, used for farm work and towing whatever needed moving. Growing up, my dad drove a ’65 Chevy Stepside with a three-speed on the column, an ’88 F-150 manual, a ’90 Ranger, and later a ’02 F-150.
I’ve owned a few myself: a ’94 Ranger manual, ’95 F-150 manual, ’04 Ranger manual—all stick shifts that got me around Middle Tennessee. Now I’ve got a ’14 Silverado—automatic, but it does the job. This site, Tennessee Truck Revival, is about keeping old trucks like these running. I cover restoration tips, tow stories, and junkyard finds from places like Shelbyville and Lynchburg. If you’re into reviving classics, stick around.
